Meet Bethany Averie
Hello, and thank you for coming to my site!
I'm the second-to-the-youngest of 8 children. Growing up, I loved fairy-tales, mythology, and all kinds of stories. My parents read to me (and my siblings) when we were little. Their love of reading, and encouragement of reading, started my lifelong love affair with books.
I began writing pretty young--not sure what age I was, but I'd write poems, and lyrics. I did some short story work, but I didn't get into writing novels until later in life.
Junior year of high school, one of my teachers kept telling me I should chase my dreams, but I didn't think I had what it took to write professionally. I wrote several things during that time, and in the years following. However, it wouldn't be until long after I graduated high school that All's Fair In Love & Lion would come into being. When that happened, I began seriously pursuing the dream of being a published author.
Now, with an awesome real-life hero for a husband, and offspring of my own, plus 5 books published and working on more, I'm enjoying being a published author.
